    Imagine an FSB agent going to a bombed out village in sub-Saharan Africa, from which UN forces just bloodily expelled ISIS fighters, and that agent trying to convince the villagers to all get up and move to Britain because Russia wants them too.

        ISIS has had a strong presence in Central and Northern Africa, and along with this article, off the top of my head I can say that there is a current UN multinational operation that is still fighting encircled remnant ISIS forces in Mali, Niger, Nigeria, and Mozambique.
