You can probably find a Portuguese translation of the textbook Los conceptos elementales del materialismo histórico by Marta Harnecker. I'm not a native Spanish speaker but I was able to work my way through it and I've found it helpful. It'll explain a lot of the basic jargon used by Marxists in a straightforward way that will help you in other reading.

I'm not necessarily Christian but I've been thinking about this! Heavy estrictions on the use of holiday imagery by businesses, limiting them to a much shorter holiday season. Give extra days off to people during that shorter season to make it clear that this isn't an anti Christmas measure but a Christmas stewardship measure. No real restrictions on when people decorate at home, but specific holidays for lighting and takedown could encourage people to follow suit. Similar time restrictions on holiday-related marketing should be in place for other holidays, and whichever agency enforces these measures should also be responsible for patronage of holiday events year round, including Christian, non-Christian, and secular holidays.
