I'm cynical about this and actually do believe House is the best ending for the Courier, just perhaps not the best option for the rest of Vegas. Siding with the NCR just gives you a medal or something, Legion puts your face on a coin, Yes Man means you're going to spend the rest of your life as administrator/protector of this city with bickering interests and under constant looming threat of NCR and Legion coming back.
Side with House and you get a penthouse, enough money to do whatever you want, and you'll probably just have to do odd-job wetwork or negotiation from time to time. You're set for life.
Daddy House will fix everything, and if he doesn't I still get to live the good life in the Lucky 38. :big-cool:
