You don't have to actually use the Element client. You can you Element, NeoChat, FluffyChat, SchildiChat, Fractal, Syphon, DittoChat, Spectral, or any other Matrix client you find.
Is spaces something that's in the matrix protocol?
I have almost every Matrix client installed because none I've used support multiple accounts across multiple servers yet...so I have to use at least three.
I'm currently using FluffyChat for the chapo server, should I switch to Element for that then?
I've been wanting something like this to overtake discord, hopefully it catches on. Apparently I already had an account from a while ago, can I still change my host account?
I really need you to understand that I'm not going to convince my normal not terminally online friends to switch to element, duckduckgo or Linux

I don't have element downloaded and instead use it in browser, because of this I actually cannot seem to dm you with that link
