I’m planning on trading in my iPhone 8 Plus, I’m going to be switching to LineageOS w/ microg. I was thinking about getting a Google Pixel but I found out LineageOS w/ microg supports more than just Pixel. I really don’t know anything about the Android phone meta (lol). A midrange phone probably suits me best but I’d be open to seeing some higher range options.
It's just too easy to crush, smash, or lose a phone. Or place it next to a really strong magnet for that matter.
i've got a pixel 4a 5g and it runs GrapheneOS really nice. i'm thinking about switching to CalyxOS for microG though, i miss getting notifications from the few proprietary apps i have installed
I have a Xiaomi phone. I'm satisfied and feel I got more value for money than with other brands. Like you did with Huawei back in the day.
CalyxOS is better and it also supports microg so go with a Pixel if you can
Yeah but that can be changed. CalyxOS and GrapheneOS are both more secure than LineageOS
Don't know much about LineageOS specifically but the Pixel 4a works absolutely perfectly. The 5a is rumored to come out in August but also is not expected to have big improvements
