    For me, it's a hobby, where if I can't exercise, I'm itching to get back to it. I want to get better at combat sports. I want to put more weight on the bar. I want to run a faster 10k.

    But if it was an obligation like brushing my teeth, I probably wouldn't do it as consistently.

    Well, I probably would since I feel terrible if don't exercise.

    The other thing is that I've started and stopped a lot, and I've gotten to practice starting again over and over.
