Do you have a favorite holiday for celebrating or doing magic work?
Not familiar with Walpurgisnacht, any good info on it. Wikipedia mostly describes it as a Christian holiday to burn witches on.
Most celebrate the day of Beltane but I've had more intense experiences with rituals during the night before, hence Walpurgisnacht. It is a balance to Samhain and has some energetic similarities, while maintaining distinct difference.
I use a lot of bonfire in my rituals and it ties well into the pre-christian traditions, as well as paying homage to those that died as I continue the craft.
Samhain is my favorite to celebrate, I love fall and where I live it basically marks the end of harvest which is always a great time for a feast.
Ostara/ Spring equinox is my favorite for magic work. The burst of life that comes with spring just feels so powerful. To me it also feels like when a new year truly starts.
