They criticized china for:

1. The celebration being mostly attended by people connected to the party. No self awareness that this is exactly like every American inauguration.

2. The singing of patriotic songs. It's not ok when china does it apparently.

3. President Xi promising to defend china. This is actually a threat somehow.
