Also aren't these people the same ones that cried about "whataboutism" during the start of the Ukraine Conflict? How hypocritical lmao

*what about ism is a buzzword, I know, but they believe it exists and so them doing that fits their own definition which is now being used in their favor.

"How is it that we hear the loudest yelps for liberty among the drivers of negroes?" applies perfectly. The guilty will always project their actions on others and will invoke the whataboutism tactic when confronted about it.

I am sorry, but who is in charge of Pakistan right now you fucking clowns. It's a military dictatorship backed by the US. I hate the west soooo fucking much. Just deceitful pieces of shit everywhere. This fucking cockroach knows this, he is just leaving out this little fact on purpose.

Edit: by you fucking clowns I don't mean the comrades on this sub or you. I mean the guy who made this tweet. Making this edit to ensure it isn't misinterpreted.

"they arent being criticized for their genocide so why should we", this argument is so disingenuous it is impossible for it to not be malicious. If this says anything its that media should stop hyper focusing on one issue at the time cuz multiple bad things can happen at once and infact horrible people generally pick moments of tragedy to do horrible things.

I was just pointing out that it happens a lot that when something bad happens the ruling class takes the opportunity to do fucked up shit while people are distracted.

also people care about what the news tells them to care about, and the western media has a habit of not reporting negatively about western allies, which Pakistan is right now, like remember when no one said anything about Saudi Arabia but the second they stopped following every order there was a flood of "Saudi Arabia has a human rights problem" articles, i dont think that Pakistan chose this moment because of israhell but i do think its a bit conspiratorial that the western media doesnt cover it.

If your only defense of your militaries actions is "Well no one's talking about that other guy", you might be the embodiment of evil.

Is this guy serious? I don't like Pakistan expelling Afghans but they were in Pakistan in the first place because of the US and friends laying Afghanistan to waste.

Afghanistan exists as a country and Pakistan is not bombing the shit out of it. What it is doing is kicking out refugees, which is fucked up. I am not going to support Pakistan kicking out Afghan refugees to a Taliban controlled country, but equating that with genocidal war that's squeezing the civilian population into an ever smaller area of the map with barely any food/water/fuel is not equivalent. There's also a fact that the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan was arbitrarily created by the British and the tribes that spanned that border for centuries don't respect it is another matter which makes what Pakistan is doing messed up. A genocidal war it isn't.

Also, the decision was made by a military dictatorship put in place by an American backed coup that ousted a democratically elected leader, Imran Khan. This piece of shit posting this knows that. Imran Khan wanted to grant them citizenship.

There is also a poverty factor. Pakistan is controlled by IMF idiots who take huge loans and falls into poverty. Instead of solving the poverty and terrorism inside Pakistan which they themselves supported, they kicked out poor afghan families.

If Pakistan is committing genocide against Afgans, that is bad too. However forcing refugees into another land is less terrible than bombing the shit out of civilians.

To discourage documentation of genocide is very bad no matter who is doing it.

How do people not understand this?

Pakistan is not doing ethnic cleansing, don't fall for the obvious non sensical propaganda. There were afghanis who came into Pakistan due to Afghanistan invasion by USSR and US war and Talibani oppression. There is an increased amount of terrorism from Taliban affiliated parties in Pakistan. So Pakistan decided to send these refugees back home. Obviously it's a bad decision but we can understand the nuance. Pakistan did genocide though of Bangladeshis in 1971 by which 3 million bengalis were killed or raped.

Maybe the word "genocide" is a problem in of itself because it destroys the nuance that makes various forms of bad things look like the same thing. Refugees being turned back to their homeland is not on the scale of awful that a campaign of rape an murder of civilians is. Still not great though. I'd rather people just be able to live their lives wherever they want as long as they aren't colonizing anybody.

While the rape and killings were supported by US kissinger and China's alignment with Kissinger where 3 million were killed which was intentional and deliberate to kill the ethnicity for the language here in Afghans deportation Pakistan dont have intent to finish off afganis. The intent and hate is a crucial factor. Ofc genocide is an important word and we can't stick to only "European jews" Only for European racism.

Whataboutism. A far cry from the claims of whataboutism when someone points out that the accusing side is guilty of the same thing, all he did was make reference to a completely unrelated conflict in a completely unrelated country while completely ignoring the original argument, the implication being "hey did you know this is happening? Well you're a horrible person if you still care about the original thing now that I've brought this to your attention." That's literally, by definition, whataboutism.

And he has zero cited sources mind you, you just have to trust that the guy who's this biased toward Israel as to literally call filming their war crimes a war crime in itself, has complete, up to date, accurate, and good faith information about what's happening in Pakistan.

Coming from a guy whose career is "researching anti-Semitism inside the anti-Zionist movement", the word genocide means nothing, and his opinion can thus be dismissed.

Comparing these two things is a logical trap of imperialism. Pakistan's economic situation can't support 2 million refugees at all, and with the improvement of Afghanistan's domestic situation,These American-made refugees should return to their homes.

I haven't kept up to date, but has Pakistan even managed to deal with the 33 million Pakistanis displaced by floods?
