month ago i found a spider in my bed and nearly died.
today, when i went to get a t-shirt from my chair clothes pile, a spider came crawling from inside.
first they take my bed, now my clothes. next they will take my drugs.
i no longer feel safe in this household :deeper-sadness:

While that's true, I used to have a (mild?) brown recluse infestation in my closet. It can sometimes be a big issue.
It may help to know what the dangerous ones are, as wolf spiders are far more spooky looking than brown recluses but aren't dangerous.
Jumping spiders are cute, cool, and good. They're the ones that show up if you google 'cute spider' because they have two neotenous front eyes.
Could be worse, brown recluses are really docile. You just need to be careful not to accidentally grab/squish them and they're basically never going to bite you.
Definitely not ideal though, I personally wouldn't want brown recluses in my closet. Maybe hanging out in the walls or something, I don't mind them there.
More than a few times I saw them crawl into my laundry basket o_O
But other than the occasional freak-out over grabbing or almost grabbing something with a brown buddy, I never had an incident. No bites or anything.
Recently I had one as a pet but Dennis unfortunately passed away after an embarrassing incident.
RIP my man Dennis.
i see jumping spiders as tiny cats. pretty similar personality.
