Yes. That certificate expired at
Dec 5 18:21:31 2023 GMT
. The current one expires atFeb 4 10:12:10 2024 GMT
.That's odd, because I'm still seeing a cert that expires today, and it happens to be issued for chapo.chat not hexbear.net: https://hexbear.net/pictrs/image/63620155-0a13-4d56-b9ea-fa620c64ba7a.png
That's just the Common Name. The rest of the domains are in the Subject Alternate Names

It was outside of Hexbear's control, Hexbear wasn't able to install the updated cert before receiving it from the NSA, and they were dragging their feet.

no risk, no reward
I have a certificate saying I'm a cool guy and it definitely has not expired
It seems the pictrs URL is insecure but the homepage is secure. Odd.
Folks, certbot, it's no good. More and more people are saying it. They come to me and say Comrade Zvyozdochka, can you please help me fix my "3 renew failure(s), 0 parse failure(s)"?
I've started moving a lot of my stuff over to Caddy, their auto certificate renewal hasn't let me down yet and it's nice to have everything all in one.
Maybe I'm just built different but for me certbot is pretty reliable
My certbot seems pretty reliable as well, but it just serves certs to BIND. Traefik does all the real work.
Oh you just gotta use PutinVPN then it doesn't do that, it should come with your tankie employment starter pack
The cert I'm seeing is issued for chapo.chat. Also, I was noticing earlier when the security errors were popping up that if I loaded the news mega it would show outdated comments at the top and I would be unable to upvote, then if I refreshed I got up-to-date comments and I was able to upvote.
Happened to me, too. Hasn't happened on any other device besides my desktop though
