      I would expect that it's more like US cops where it isn't an acute event but something they do with impunity from time to time at a smaller scale.

      It's definitely not 1:1, but the IDF forcefully removes all clothing and detains Palestinians for absolutely no reason all the time. If they can successfully lie to themselves that these men (mostly men but they do it to women and teens (kids) too) are complicit in horrific sexual violence then they can rationalize the brutality that they inflict as "more moral." It is incredibly wild to see a nation openly committing these crimes day after day. Small scale Abu Ghraib events every day. Little comment (or zero) from Western media sources. If they ever talk about it at all they just call them all suspected terrorists... no commentary on why the fuck you would arrest teenagers or WHY ARE THEY STRIPPED NAKED. I mean fuck man. The IDF isn't trying to beat the Nazi charges. They're just embracing it
