Guns are an important but ultimately small part of SHTF. There is some overlap, but c/guns is not for discussing organizing and food management etc. Centering a wider lifestyle around guns runs the risk of dipping into the cult of the soldier; action for action's sake. It is the fastest and most assured way to attract chuds and chuds that just want healthcare.
While you make correct points, from a practical point of view I'd rather have one relatively big sub than two smaller niche subs, at least for now. I'd rather drive traffic there, then split them eventually, rather than have more subs for folks to ignore.
