And as expected, Rittenhouse had a Fox Nation crew filming everything - https://twitter.com/jeremymbarr/status/1461873915605798912
Good on them I guess but Warhammer has always rubbed me the wrong way with some of their stereotypes of certain cultures.
Twitter's moderation is so inconsistently bad. Apparently, you can get your account locked down for replying to this tweet with a joke about Rittenhouse choking on something solid.
Meanwhile, hordes of alt-right and neo-nazi accounts remain free to post racist jokes/memes/rants
You could still see the corridor from the Tajikistan side, I think? Maybe that'll change with the security situation but I think that's a route some people take
I'm sure Pakistan can help them out with that...
Bleak outlook tonight after seeing how DMFI, Third Way, and Republican astroturfers basically sway an election so easily.
Basically, the NLRB hearing officer found that Amazon violated labor law and will report to the Regional Director to recommend a new election.
Sounds like it will be a forced do-over but maybe I'm being optimistic
Basically Biden's administration wants the moratorium to end because they think it will be good for the economy and housing market long-term, but they can't say that outright so they are just passing the blame.
The Limp Bizkit set was among the most tone-deaf stuff I've ever seen. I'm not saying they were responsible, but it was pretty obvious they failed to read the room.
I didn't really like them at the time either, especially in middle school a few years later.
Edit - I also have to say that Moby comes across as very obnoxious and sanctimonious at times. "No one can like rock music and electronic music!" Really???
I watched the Woodstock '99 documentary yesterday and it certainly gave me a lot to chew on. "Middle" millennials like myself were too young to really process the event in real-time on the news, but the documentary does put it into context with the larger hellscape of the late 90s/early 00s with the abundance of misogyny, homophobia, and white suburban rage. I remember those few years as a really weird and ominous time, and some people tend to forget how it was before 9/11. Columbine, WTO protests being brutally crushed, Y2K, Gore/Bush, etc...it was kind of a prelude to the country going batshit crazy and bombing everyone around them if you think about it. It's probably worth checking out if you are interested in that subject matter. The documentary went a little overboard with the topless footage, especially considering they talk about the sexual assault cases at the event....but overall, it's worth watching. A little dark, but worth my time at least.
My conclusion: Generation X sucks a lot more than we thought
The medalists in the Women's Street Skateboarding event will be two 13-year-olds and a 16-year-old.
Women's Street Skateboarding is shaping to have a great final round. Some of these skaters are only like 13-16 years old and they are just absolutely putting on a clinic.
Good question...I'm not sure. I'd be surprised if they kept it around after this year. It's fun, but the logistics are challenging

You should be able to watch the full replay on NBC's website if you have a streaming or cable subscription
I guess shadowy figure is a better way to describe what I saw but it really felt like the grim reaper at that point
I had a shitload of sleep paralysis occurrences when I was in college. It mostly stopped after that. Really weird.
I had one of the scariest experiences ever during one. It felt like I was being dragged across my bed with a grim reaper-like figure on the opposite end facing me, and then it appeared right next to me! The brain is a crazy thing.
Skateboarding has been great in the Olympics so far. The street event today was very entertaining. Long overdue. Surfing was kinda fun too, but it's obviously very dependent on the waves cooperating in an area like Japan where surfing doesn't really come easy.
That's a helluva birthday present. I'm considering it an early birthday gift since I was born on Christmas.
