In Buenos Aires there’s this “natural reserve” by the river that is actually all the rubble product of demolishing a shitton of buildings to make 9 de Julio avenue. So they put all that rubble there and let trees grow and is actually a nice park.

They could have done something like that; but no, let's make a thing where a lot of children are gonna die.

This is almost as bad as Cordoba's Lighthouse

    There was a pile like this close to where I used to live. It was leftover construction sand for a highway that never materialised, but I remember it was kinda fun climbing up it and watching the fireworks over the wastes of suburbia.
