In Buenos Aires there’s this “natural reserve” by the river that is actually all the rubble product of demolishing a shitton of buildings to make 9 de Julio avenue. So they put all that rubble there and let trees grow and is actually a nice park.
They could have done something like that; but no, let's make a thing where a lot of children are gonna die.
This is almost as bad as Cordoba's Lighthouse
There was a pile like this close to where I used to live. It was leftover construction sand for a highway that never materialised, but I remember it was kinda fun climbing up it and watching the fireworks over the wastes of suburbia.

I mean, it is directly next to a huge park.
That said, it can't be too difficult to come up with a better use of the land than an artificial hill which is smaller than the buildings surrounding it and requires buying a fucking ticket to climb.
It was a flat surface, they built a hill that will kill a lot of children for some reason. Parks are cool and necesary, but this is beyond stupid.
Is there supposed to be something around there that would be worth having a high vantage point to look at? Because that's the only reason I would think they'd make this monstrosity.
