Cardiacs are rad af. You ever listened to Dog Faced Hermanns or Thinking Fellers Union Local 282? Not quite as proggy imo; but Cardiacs, on top of prog, are art punk/fucky post-punk and the aforementioned bands are prob my favorite related to that (especially TFUL 282, eventually I will find someone to love this weird, warped ass band that aren't people on rym that I don't interact with)

For TFUL definitely check out Strangers from the Universe first, def most accessible and just their best imo.
