Oats and whole grains, beef, and fish. Black beans as well. If you drink more than your average person eat a lot of one, or all, of these as a habit. I think pork has some too, a low amount, but chicken definitely does not.
It should be an additive to beers but no one has allowed that to happen yet. Look up Wernicke–Korsakoff syndrome if you're wondering what the consequences of not having enough are.

It's not curing alcoholism it's just an easy to overlook nutrient deficiency. Look it up, it's been recommended since the 30's to stop your brain from rotting. Like doctors prescribe it to people who can't quit even now. It's not going to fix your liver. Obviously alcoholism will kill you. This is a harm reduction post.

no, absolutely not. drinking heavily is bad. If you can't stop though, alcoholism, make sure your nutrients are in order to curb some of the worst effects. This is one of them people often overlook to really bad results.
