It's good lol. It's just d2 but doesn't hurt my eyes but has the same vibe it used to back in the day.

Also the controller support works surprisingly well, and rumble feed back from spells actually adds some depth I didn't expect. Works sort of how FFXIV does it, but slightly less complicated. Intuitive even.

I have no idea why I thought D2 would make sense as an abbreviation for most people here. I think back a long time ago on the internet people used to call it that and it just stuck in the vocab of the 13 year old in my brain

I think the "remastered" tipped people off. What else does D2 stand for these days, Destiny?

    I love diablo 2. I've played diablo 2 for over a decade.

The performance for D2R requires a modern gaming computer. The beta client is 25 GB and immediately occupies 4 GB of ram when you open the game. If you have an older computer or a computer that uses cpu integrated graphics, this game won't run. I thought I would be able to run this on an older computer because the trailer said it supported old graphics mode. The beta client crashes within 10 seconds of opening.

Is there a skillbar for mouse now? That was one of the most annoying things in my opinion for certain builds. I was looking forward to this but now everyone's saying direct connect is gone and mods are fucked outside of actual singleplayer. Vanilla is ok but the most fun I had with d2 was with mods.

Nah, there's a full skillbar for controllers but mouse still has to be manually bound via the two slots for some reason

No idea about the rest, not my wheelhouse
