Dumb question since I still don't know much about this dude but did he simply win because he survived a stroke and also wears hoodies because he's like me fr fr????

I remember seeing Dems championing him all over reddit but I haven't seen anything from this guy that would suggest that he is progressive, like at all. Even from a Dem brainworm definition of "progressive".

He also was running against Dr. Mehmet Oz so there was probably some element of "Who do you want, the large adult son or another TV dude."

Tbh, he only won because the alternative was Dr. Oz, who is now broadly hated for being a genuine piece of shit and harming tens of millions of people with his quack TV grift. If they'd run for office 15 years earlier, he'd have beat Fetterman.

My grandma watched his show regularly and thinks all doctors are smart in all fields. But shes a staunch Democrat so i wonder how she feels about him now. What won, celebrity worship or party politics lol.

She never abandoned Ellen so. But also Ellen didnt run for office as a Republican lol.
