I simply like my dumb little lights to do silly little things integrated with my stupid little games. I like it when i play warframe and the keyboard lights go wheeewww. I simply have a childlike lizard brain reaction to “oo lights do thingy when game do thingy!” I know it's dumb and it's not even a good keyboard but my brain chemicals go brr for the pretty lights. I would kill a man for a way to get that RGB integration and have key switches that aren't lame.

Not 100% sure but I think there is a very basic razor driver that supports picking a solid color or a simple pattern, but doesn’t have the full feature set that windows gives you. Disclaimer though my information is like 4 years out of date because that’s when I was last shopping around for a razor product

Can't speak from experience since I've never had any razer products but openRazer looks like it works really well. I don't know how it does with games under proton but I'd slightly lean towards expecting it to work though so I think it's worth a shot if you haven't tried that already.
