    Maybe it's the new sorting algorithm? We had our own custom one prior to abandoning the ancient lemmy fork.

          I think people get this idea that they have to write long replies to effortposts. I always liked when people would shitpost under them.

      The algorithm is supposed to be better in Lemmy v0.19.0, so things should improve whenever Hexbear is upgraded to it.
