If Nintendo wanted to be good capitalists they should hand the job to whoever has the largest pirate ROM collection. (sticking my flag at around 4000)
I've been scared of downloading ROMS to this day because I downloaded some off of Kazaa and crashed the family computer.
ROMs are very safe but, since they're illegal, a lot of the places hosting them will offer you "download manager" malware to pay for themselves (it's already illegal what do they care). You can carefully uncheck whatever "please give me malware" boxes they have, or just get your stuff from vimm.net
