Would be really bad if people started spamming the applications with nonsense and make it harder for them to find someone actually qualified, but nah, you guys don't want to abolish IP's of course

Your first duty on the job will be to bomb an Italian maternity ward because someone named their child Luigi.

it would be really bad if one of us was hired to enforce Nintendo's IPs

If Nintendo wanted to be good capitalists they should hand the job to whoever has the largest pirate ROM collection. (sticking my flag at around 4000)

I've been scared of downloading ROMS to this day because I downloaded some off of Kazaa and crashed the family computer.

ROMs are very safe but, since they're illegal, a lot of the places hosting them will offer you "download manager" malware to pay for themselves (it's already illegal what do they care). You can carefully uncheck whatever "please give me malware" boxes they have, or just get your stuff from vimm.net

I want to get the job, pick up their sweet paycheck, and then do nothing but smoke pot in their office all day.

fuck nintendo, this loses them money even, it's solely ideological to give a shit about their IP.

I'm an expert in nintendo IPs. I've spent years studying commercial and non-commercial "fan deviations". Here is my resume along with a sample of my work, a PDF with every nude picture of Luigi I could find. I will fax and email more to employees listed on Linkedin as I find them, free of charge. I am seeking full-time employment.

    Respectfully,

    Dr. Happybadger, lawman

yes because famously litigious Nintendo is only just now going to begin enforcing control over their IPs

what exactly are we worried about?

if this spurred people to download roms of their favorite nintendo games for use on emulators before it's too late, i would be quite upset with them!

Would be really bad if they actually ended up hiring someone on who intended to just drag their feet or be maliciously compliant or counterproductive, lose a chunk of time in legal endeavors along with tens of thousands in salary, and have a string of worker-saboteurs lining up to do the same thing.
