Saudi is an adjective, Arabia is Saudi because it's ruled by the house of Saud.

People who live there call it Saudi, what's wrong with calling something the same as what locals do?

  I didn't know that. Ain't nothing wrong with that in fact I'd say following the locals' lead is preferable.
