Been trying to get better with accepting and internalizing advice. Whether it’s dating, social interaction, or exercising, or any other topic.

The only problem is, whenever I get advice, I always feel like it doesn’t apply to me, y’know? Like I’m that bad, that normal advice doesn’t work for me.

A whole bunch of it, of course, is wrapped up with my self-esteem issues.

The worst part is I often feel like I'm letting those people down because they're 'wasting' good advice on me.

I’ve been trying to shake that feeling. Is there an explanation for this feeling?
