      really fucked up because they didn't do that for the original show version of the sketch (although flying circus itself had plenty of blackface :agony-mescaline: :negative: )

      To be fair in the original Im pretty sure there is a Chinese guy playing mao, but he doesn't say anything. Doesn't excuse all the other time Graham Chapman played a Chinese guy and in the Michael Palin Bike Holiday episode and I had no idea why he was talking weird as a kid. Then again this skit didn't make any since when I was a kid
