Been like this for most the pandemic at this point, with small spurts of a month or so trying to get a routine going.

I have a kettle bell, some small 4 lb hand weights, and a very small yard. That's my exercise equipment. There's also a bike, but my anxiety wants me to work my way up to that since I'm on a major road with a lot of hill.

Advice on where to start? Like I said big scary road, lots of hills, so don't want to start with jogging and biking yet. But need to get cardio somewhere.

Gym is still bad, I'm in the south and covid freaks me out.

Just afraid of cars atm, my road is fucking wild because it's a known local "short cut" aka a neighborhood where people drive 60 through it because cops never fucking go down it

yea i feel that, love sharing a road with a 1 ton metal machine going 50 times as fast as me while an idiot inside fiddles with a cellphone and a dunkin donuts coffee. do you have a public school, college or community centre close by? when i lived in a bigger city a school had a dirt track that was free to use after the kids left.

There's a park not too far, i'll try heading there and see how I feel on a good day this coming week. Part of my issues is the agoraphobia the fucking lockdown added onto my already bad anxiety, so I'm looking to slowly break out of that shell with some exercise. But this sounds alright so long as I figure out which days there aren't a lot of folks

good idea, its always best to start in small doses. I use google maps to find potential routes and to measure distances.

best of luck comrade, getting my heart pumping is my favourite part of the day, i hope it goes well for you
