Same. My least favorite thing about standup comedy used to be the "applaud now" moments like saying they just had a kid or whatever, but at least those were short. Now if a comedian goes on a screed it's at least ten minutes of their set that's going to be completely unwatchable, even if I agree with them.

Half of these Netflix standup specials, including Chapelle's, are just right wing Ted Talks.
