Instead, I’ll say this: your ideology is determined by your actions, it’s not something you can ascribe to yourself. I don’t care how well you understand the works of Marx, if all you do is put your head down and exist within the capitalist system, the value you bring to the world is wholeheartedly capitalist. So, I don’t care how hard you believe that you are a socialist or a communist or an anarchist, the cis users on this site tend to fall into one of two ideological camps. The users who have actively made this site more hostile to minority groups are reactionaries. The users who have sat idly by as this has happened are liberals. If these camps are what pass as “left” these days, we might as well [redacted].
