Like the title says - I’d like to learn more about the big man himself, but I don’t want CIA garbage pumped straight into my brain. (I don’t really trust Google’s results, and best-selling rarely means accurate and useful). Thanks in advance!

    The Blowback podcast's Season 2 was on Cuba, and they covered Castro's early life and revolutionary activities in some episodes. They post detailed sources, so there should be a bunch of books on him there:
