copying from my other thread:

As leftists, we understand that a lot of individual problems are caused by systemic issues. However, I think that there is still a lot that can be done on the individual level to improve your life.

Most online self-improvement spaces have a reactionary slant and are dominated by the same type of guy, which is another great reason to have a self-improvement comm on this website.

We can change the name of the comm to something more fitting if you have some suggestions.

If somebody wants to mod the comm, please let me know because I think I wouldn't have enough time.

We need disciplined communists, especially as we continue into the West's terminal phase in the coming decades and opportunities arise out of the misery and chaos.

I agree 100%, this is a great point.

One of the things that occasionally replays in my brain is Brace Belden talking about how we need to be the best people possible in order to captivate those around us. Hardworking, compassionate, "cool", etc etc, as it helps us more easily create communities out of alienated people.

I wanted to post that Brace speech because it sums up my thoughts. I couldn't find it when I made the post but I found it in the meantime, here it is. Basically, we should strive to improve ourselves, strive to become the best version of ourselves and lead by example. I have a really broad definition of self-improvement, which includes reading theory and doing praxis. Becoming a better and stronger person yourself also makes you a better communist. It allows you to help people around you and build a better world. solidarity

I'd even help moderate it if it becomes a comm.

That would be great! I think I wouldn't have enough time to moderate the comm, so it would be great if there are volunteers
