Now to wait for the 10,000 thinkpieces that examine why it means capitalism good

I walked out of Capitalism Bad after the first thirty minutes, because I was tired of the Woke Leftist Identity Politics transforming the brand of bad capitalism I grew up with into another hyper-politicized agenda-driven diatribe.

When I grew up, we didn't need to constantly check our privilege when saying that capitalism is bad. Now I'm expected to listen to Capitalism Bad said over and over again for two straight hours by a minority, a foreigner, and a woman? They've completely ruined the aesthetic of Capitalism Bad that I grew up consuming as commodity. They've turned Capitalism Bad into something weird and annoying and reductive and long-winded and too loud and unclear and entirely focused on the thing that I don't want to see in a Capitalism Bad movie.

I just don't think I am every going to watch another movie in the CBU. Not even if they bring back Fredrick Engles, a character that was left on the cutting room floor back in the Prequel series despite fervent protest from the fan base to star in his own movie. Yes, I know the trailer for Capitalist Bad: Communism Beard looks very retro and cool. And I'm excited to see Lenin's neighbor's grandson's dog directing this new take on the old stuff I love. But am I going to be forced to watch them retcon all of Third Wave Feminism before I get to the forty-minute long review of probate records that I'm here to see?

I just don't have the time or the energy to hear someone else complain about something. For me, that's a deal breaker. If you agree, please remember to like, subscribe, and share this. And don't forget to join my Patreon, where you can get over 72 hours of historical materialism, including the time I first heard about Capitalism and the Christmas Bonus Episode where I go into a church to do opium.

That's all I've got for now! See you next week!
