I desperately want to believe that but I saw it happening when I taught highschool up until a bit ago. Granted that was a white suburb but there was a lot of 4chan esq right wing talking points from a crap ton of students me and female.

I know right wing culture is inherently self defeating but they have learned easily how to counteract that with money and propaganda. Then again most of those students were better allies then anyone during my day so idk I think I’m just in a defeatist mood lately after the school airs gave in to teacher demands and I quit before I had parents monitoring my class for “brainwashing”
