The trans men in my life have legitimately given me a much healthier perspective on what it means to be a man. They do not perform masculinity out of fear of being feminine. They genuinely have so much joy for the things that make them feel like men, which I have to say was lost on me as a cis man until I started looking for it. My idea of manhood has always been so toxic and narrow that I repressed urges that realistically I had no good reason to. Trans liberation has been my liberation as well and I am so thankful for that.
