        I mean yeah, but by definition they can't be vegan? I know they can and do eat grains and veggies from time to time.

      You're an obligate omnivore but can still go vegan without issue because we have vitamin supplements, namely B12. We can (relatively) easily develop nutritionally complete vegan cat food, it's just not a general priority and has not been well-studied.

      Though letting your cat eat little a lettuce as a treat isn't a vegan cat diet anyways.
