To teach people to think critically of what they read online, I guess. This comm is much more open to news from more international sources, which is a good thing, but I think that level of flexibility also forces the mods to allow some propaganda through on all sides. I respect it.

The article says the source has been in the USA for 8 years so even ignoring the fact he has an incentive to lie, given he now works for the US, this is at best a decade old as news.

At this point I'm convinced US intelligence has no grasp on what's going on in China and their "sources" are making shit up and laughing.

Apparently, China's rocket force is taking the solid fuel from the missiles to make hot pot and replacing it with water because there wasn't enough money to buy butane.

Supposedly, the chunks of solid fuel were able to burn at a consistent rate in open air despite burn rate of solid fuels being dependent on surface area and pressure.

Maybe they can trade solid chunks of fuel for some of those tasty Russian MREs on the black market. I heard due to corruption they don't get any, so there must be lots

I mean, it wouldn't be that surprising, there's a long history of soldiers of all nations misusing rocket fuel. The original V-2s at one point had to have a laxative mixed into their 75% ethanol fuel to stop the technicians drinking it.
