Has anyone here ever flashed a router/WAP with DD-wrt/Openwrt/Tomato?

I have no idea how hard this is but I'd love to get into network tinkering stuff.

    Some routers are better than others for it, and you do run the risk of “bricking” it, but I’ve flashed several and never lost one.

    The router is critical to your security, so make sure there’s active support for model. Not to mention that the newer radios are way better.

    Was fairly easy with instructions, it just thinks a lot and you sit without Internet for a while. I would suggest having instructions opened in browser beforehand :meow-floppy:
