    I looked into this because it sounds ridiculous - it looks like the proposed mechanics for such a robot are complete science fiction, like this was just a hilarious grift by some "research group".

    I feel like every other "new tech" is complete nonsense on its face, and just sustains itself on the total scientific illiteracy of regular investors (or, in this case, capital allocators at the Pentagon)

        It’s a terrible plan as burning flesh is way less effective than wood.

        It would be more effective to have a handcrank on the terminator who will shoot people if they don’t crank it for a bit.

        I imagined it would be some kind of fermenting system. Like a robotic cow that eats grass and ferments it in its stomach.
