Just making the NFT is one part but then you have to build a community around it who will invest in it and make it more popular. That's why all these businesses are getting in on it as a marketing gimmick. They already have the community via their customer base. They already have a platform to push it.
Today western popular culture has by and large ceased to create anything new. All the handful of IP rights conglomerates who own our culture do is to regurgitate decades-old box office hits.
