Ottawa, December 17, 2021 – Today, the Correctional Investigator, Dr. Ivan Zinger, released new data that shows that the proportion of incarcerated Indigenous women has continued to increase unabated, and is nearing 50% of all federally-sentenced women.

    sidenote: I love how mayos love posting "crime statistics" but then they go eerily silent when you state that 80% of Native women who experience sexual violence do so from a racial outgroup (and there aren't exactly a ton of Black men in rural Wyoming)
