Long story short I’m finally getting one and I know a bunch sell your data. So which is the actually best safe one

      Torrent works and I can max out my speed (before Comcast throttles me at ~3.5MB/s). But port forwarding is a great thing to have for torrents. That's all I know. I've googled port forwarding before but the answers gave me a big migraine.

          In order to seed/share files on bittorrent, other users need to be able to connect to you. Port forwarding allows your computer to receive incoming connections through a router/VPN (since your IP isn't publicly known or reachable). Some VPNs don't do this and it means at best you'll only be able to download. I don't recall spending extra or enabling anything extra with Nord though. Maybe their policy or pricing has changed though.
