The article is archived as I believe there is a policy here about direct links to reactionary source and I think this source is linked to Bari Weiss so I'm gonna guess that qualifies.

Article referenced in the recent The Russians podcast episode, article itself is meant to be a hit piece on Chambers, but still a wild read. If you can't stomache the article listen to the podcast episode.

Chambers' response to the article: https://nitter.net/jccfergie/status/1732398107847954909#m

This is not a personal endorsement of Chambers or his groups, just fascinating someone like this exists.

Dude needs to start buying up electric plants and telecoms and staffing them with commies like the early councils in the Soviet Union did

Doubt this guy does much beyond aesthetics tbh.

Like he converted to Islam recently apparently. But he does bail fund stuff I guess which isn't nothing

As imperfect and aimless as this seems, this would probably be me if I had that kind of money.

100%. This is definitely going to get broken up by the feds, though.

Lol it got broken up already by the local city council. Disorganized goofiness. Seems like a legit comrade though

I honestly wonder if they would fund someone here's project if they @d them in a compelling tweet, a quarter billion is an unimaginable amount of wealth. I don't know what strings would be attatched, but it seems like they are ready to throw down cash for stuff.

Oh wow, one of these guys actually exists. Well good for him I guess. A core Marxist tenet is that the working class must emancipate themselves, so I wonder how this fits into that. Probably with a lot of weird dynamics. I guess he could give people a generous stipend to go salt?

endless and expensive wilderness therapy programs for troubled teens in Utah

    oh jeez.

also please note that My Old School is actually about Bard College, where both Chambers and Steely Dan went to school. That's a "neat, alma mater mentioned" kind of remark not a "music is secretly talking about me" kind of remark. Weiss L

We've run across this guy and some of his followers online. I'm not 100% sure if there's something shady going on, but it sure seems like it. His friends seem really eager to create divisions between leftists. Either he's kind of an ineffective idiot, or a fed, or both.

I was most surprised he is closely working with the Calla Walsh. Would not have expected them to have so many resources behind them.
