:astronaut-2: :astronaut-1:
And they won't pay for those busted out windows either, that's on you fam.
Inadequate funding has driven NASA to become completely cucked too. The other day I heard in a radio interview from some well known astronaut about how SpaceX and Blue Balls or whatever the fuck are all good and fine because we need all the help we can get so little Timmy of today will be jacking it to extra terrestrial content on the moon tomorrow.
Everytime I hear any astronaut speak, it seems like these people are extremely sheltered to the world around them, even if they have some sense of what ails the planet.
I saw the blue marble out the window and I had such a spiritual moment that I now cry with joy every time a billionaire rides a metal dick for a few minutes. :powercry-2:
It's such an amazing racket to starve NASA of funding, shunt those funding cuts to :melon-musk: almost dollar for dollar, replacing comet interception programs with car commercials in space with dadrock playing, then get so many bazinga brains to say "NASA can't do anything anymore, we need to give more money to the meme necromancer so humanity can become an interplanetary species!" :so-true:
I was listening to a Decoder or theverge podcast and they were interviewing an aeronautics ceo that said places like texas have no zoning laws so they can do this type of thing with zero fucks and repercussions for blowing out people’s windows.
all the lolbertarians NAP and property rights talk goes out the window in this context because Muskrat said he would pay them the monies for their houses, so serves them right that they get exploded now
Musk and the political leadership of Texas are really made for each other
:agony-minion:
But humans need to become better humans by becoming an interplanetary species. Humans! :so-true:
On a theoretical level, it might be cool to escape Earth entirely and fuck off to Mars, but it seems like everyone who makes the trip is gonna end up as some kind of indentured servant to Musk himself
It isn't and would not be sustainable any time in the forseeable future and even if supplies came there nonstop the low gravity and other health hazards would not be mitigated either.
It's an escapist fever dream and nothing more.
