reminds me of this aimixin comment:

The police defend the state.

If you don’t like the state, all cops are inherently bad.

If you do like the state, well, it’s not necessarily so.

So it’s not surprising that communists in capitalist states might hate the cops but communists in socialist states might not necessarily hate the cops.
