I refuse to not post this as a bit and !news@hexbear.net mods have no sense of humor.

I guess the CIA must have calculated that press about Havana Syndrome is not helping US interests and they put the story to bed by saying this in a public way?

The whole world laughing at the press about it was fun while it lasted.

There has been both scientific and intelligent reports from the US and Canada giving logical reasons for the original cases of the diplomats symptoms for years.

They were ignored by everyone.. particularly American media and politicians.

On the plus side this propaganda would have worked in the cold war and did not work in this era.

I take that as a win.

Yes it was, however then using it as an excuse to blank check regime changes was much less funny.

Oh look, it's the mainstream media being the handmaiden of intelligence agencies.

    How unusual.

how do you report this shit with a straight face. like they describe this widespread paranoid delusion and admit it's fake in every circumstance except a few where they can't be sure and you're just supposed to treat them like they're acting in good faith?

This whole thing was a grift by letter agency employees to get a payout from the feds before America collapses. It was clear to me what all of this was about when Congress passed a bill with near-unanimous support to give financial assistance to “Havana Syndrome victims.”

Congress passed the Havana syndrome bill much faster than the 9/11 first responders healthcare bill.
