Unlimited genocide on capitalist coöptation of communist memes, especially when the product is being exfiltrated from the Global South.

Except Zapatista coffee. It’s cultivated by the people and funds their community directly so they encourage people to buy. And apparently it’s so good that it got Alex Jones praising them and trying to downplay their leftist politics so his fans don’t get angry lol

But I think people do a disservice when they buy and resale in bulk and repackage it to completely erase their community from the marketing.

I don’t believe they sell it directly to consumers, but there are organizations that work in Chiapas that act as middlemen, and they send the packages directly to you. Avoid the ones that rebrand it

After the revolution the US will be destroyed and out of the ashes Greater Chicago rises to ascendancy

It's not really all that common, I think only like 30 cities actually have their own official flags.

It's more like several hundred at least, based on this list: https://simple.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flags_of_cities_of_the_United_States

Seems like there between 1-5 per state on average with some big outliers so probably ~200 however

This list also includes flags of towns, consolidated city-counties, villages, municipalities, and unincorporated areas, in addition to de jure cities.

and there are many in that list that are historical and not current. I'll admit there's mroe than 30 but it still isn't all that prevalent, there are almost 20,000 towns, city-counties, villages etc.

It's also a very incomplete list. Less significant towns are left off of it. As a little experiment, I web searched like 10 tiny cities near me, and 8 of them had flags. Some of them were shitty and just slapped their seal on them but that still counts because they fly it at city hall.

Soviet iconography appropriation for capitalist gains is gross. It's legit good coffee tho, cheaper than the boutique stuff and honestly better than a lot of them. My local grocery store suddenly stopped stocking it though. I usually stick with Just Coffe co-op.
