Kinda off-topic, but I've noticed many Canadian leftists don't like Bloc Quebecois that much. Could I ask why?

Quebec seems pretty chill for a Canadian province, at least at a glance, and with my albeit limited understanding of French, they seem pretty sympathetic to renewable energy and environmentalism. They even dunk on Alberta as well. They also use the word "solidarity" a lot, which is kinda chill.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not denying that in any capacity, but from my limited knowledge, there are worse provinces in Canada. After all, Maxine Bernier is from Quebec and there are more than a few active hate groups there too.

The main thing is BQ mainly focuses on Quebecois issues and they don't bother campaigning outside Quebec.

Partly racism, partly their existence means there's always a big block (ha) of federal parliament that is solely dedicated to the issues of one province (they're not too interested in advocating for Francophones in Ontario or the Atlantic, for instance). As the second most populous province, that's a LOT of seats that would otherwise go to the NDP or Liberals (see 2011). The concentration of Bloc voters in one province means the BQ always have twice as much representation in parliament than the Dippers despite having less than half the support nationally.

Racism against French Canadians is ubiquitous in English Canada, and obviously most Canadian lefties you're gonna come across as an English speaker are Anglos.
