From a quick Google search, I got the "saskatoon freezing deaths. " Where in the early 2000's three indigenous people were given starlight tours by police and left to freeze to death out in the countryside far from town.

Yeah, it didn't happen, so much, that one time in 2016 a police officer in the area deleted parts of the wiki article on starlight tours. :kkkanada:
