in a vague sense it would be authoritarian. I just happen to think an authoritarian act saving lives is, in fact, good.
I mean, seat belt mandates could be considered "authoritarian" -- and they're completely necessary and good
now if only the freedumb anti-mask crowd would turn their ire onto seat belts
